Women's Economic Ventures graduates 26 more women
BY SARAH E. THIEN

Date: 06/12/2008

A few more entrepreneurs have been unleashed onto the world of capitalism. Women's Economic Ventures (WEV) recently graduated 26 women interested in launching their own businesses in the Santa Maria area.

The women were part of a training program put on by WEV to help women entrepreneurs start up, launch, grow, and sustain a business. WEV also offers business counseling, advanced business training, quarterly conferences, and small-business start-up and expansion loans.

WEV also sponsors the THINK BIG conference series. The next conference series on how to effectively market a business or product will be held on June 27 at Fess Parker's Doubletree in Santa Barbara. Call WEV at 965-6073 for more information, or visit www.wevonline.org.
